SCA welcomes everyone who is interested in fencing and will gladly acquaint you with the sport and the club. There are a number of ways to do so:
We offer two free trial lessons to children and teenagers who would like to try out fencing.
You can join our regular junior classes on all weekdays except for Monday. Trial lessons can be arranged at any time of the year provided you email us in advance to make an appointment. Your age determines which junior class you can join, of which the times can be found on the classes page.
Please take along a pair of long sports trousers, a t-shirt, indoor sports shoes and a filled water bottle.
Once you have registered with one of our coaches at the start of the lesson, you can join in. Have fun!
SCA frequently organises introduction courses for adults. An introduction course consists of four lessons in which the basics of fencing are covered. During these lessons, you will get acquainted with the fencing sport and our club. Please click here for more information and for the registration form.
Should no introduction courses currently be scheduled, you can follow two trial lessons for free instead. You are welcome to join our fencing classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Friday. A trial lesson can be arranged any time of the year if you contact us by email to make an appointment. Please take along a pair of long sports trousers, a t-shirt, indoor sports shoes and a filled water bottle.
Become a member
Once you have completed the introduction course or the trial lessons, you will receive a registration form from your coaches. You can also find this form on the membership page.
We advise new members to train at least twice every week. There are special lessons for beginners every Monday and Tuesday evening.
