In line with the government regulations, SchermCenturm Amsterdam requires that you follow these guidelines when fencing.

Last Updated: Jan 15th, 2022

For Fencers:

  • Please only train when you are fully healthy. If you are sick or have any symptoms, or have been on contact who has, please stay ay home
  • Wash/sanitize your hands before and after entering the fencing hall
  • For access to indoor sport locations, visitors 18 and older will have to show a corona pass (QR code). This means that the fencing hall at the FOS will only be accessible via the main entrance (via the reception). It will no longer be possible to enter the fencing hall via the parking garage.
  • Everyone 13 and older will have to wear a facemask indoors, except when playing sports (fencing).
  • Everyone should try to maintain 1,5 m distance from each other when possible.
  • Spectators are not allowed during training sessions.

For Parents/Guardians of Youth Fencers:

  • Please arrange as much in advance as possible. For example, make sure that children are already dressed for fencing, that they have been to the toilet, and that they have a filled water bottle.
  • Parents are not allowed to be present in the fencing hall. Parents are therefore requested to drop off children at the fencing hall before training. After the training, parents are expected to pick up their children on time. Pay attention to the distance of one and a half meters.
